After 2022’s reworked 700 and 770 comes a new, smaller standmount from Mission: unlike its predecessors, the incoming 750 is not a reimagining of a loudspeaker model from years gone by but an all-new design where the tweeter sits below the mid/bass driver. Mission calls this driver topology “Inverted Driver Geometry” and claims it can deliver superior time alignment and imaging.
The 13.5cm mid/bass driver in the 750 is made from mineral-loaded polypropylene and has reportedly been made to the same design standard as the larger drivers created for the reworked 770 and 700. This includes a specially designed motor system, a rigid die-cast chassis and a low-density nitrile surround. Working in tandem with a bass reflex port that, according to Mission, has been tuned to a “very low frequency”, the 750 promise an in-room response of 42Hz.
